About AVIF to JPG Converter

If the AVIF carried transparency it will be flattened onto white, so use PNG for anything with a cutout background. This is also a lossy-to-lossy conversion — the AVIF was already compressed, and JPG compresses again on top — which is fine for viewing, printing and uploading, but means you should not treat the JPG as a master copy. Expect the JPG to be substantially larger than the AVIF; that gap is precisely why AVIF exists.
