About PNG to JPG Converter
PNG stores every pixel losslessly, which is why a phone screenshot or an exported photo can easily run 5–10MB. JPG throws away detail the eye barely registers and typically lands the same image somewhere between a fifth and a tenth of the size. This is the conversion people reach for when a form, an email attachment, a job portal or a marketplace listing rejects the file for being too big.

Know what you are trading away. Transparency is gone — JPG has no alpha channel, so anything see-through is flattened onto solid white, which ruins logos meant to sit on a coloured background. Sharp edges suffer too: screenshots full of text, line art and UI chrome pick up faint ringing around the letters that PNG never had. Photographs convert beautifully; diagrams and logos usually do not. If you need both small files and transparency, convert to WebP instead.
